RDHS spent 18 months contracted to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) delivering the baseline health and safety management system for all London 2012 Olympic Park venues.
18 months out from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, RDHS staff were engaged by LOCOG to provide health and safety support to the LOCOG Park Operations team. The key aim during the lead up to the games was to provide and deliver a baseline health and safety management system for all the Olympic Park venues.
Joe Ryan moved into a games time role as health and safety advisor for the Main Media Complex (MMC) and Eton Manor.
RDHS also provided the health and safety planning for the last mile function at the Olympic White Water Centre, which involved regular planning meetings with the Safety Advisory Group (SAG), and fulfilling the role of the health and safety advisor for Lee Valley in their responsibility for the management of the last mile.
