This qualification has been intentionally designed to operate at three critical levels:
• Collective preparedness – Increasing awareness and understanding across organisations strengthens societal resilience and public safety
• Organisational capability – Learners develop the skills to assess venues and operations, reduce vulnerability, and design counter terrorism preparedness plans aligned with the intent of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025
• Individual skills – Participants gain practical, transferable skills to support careers in security operations, events, facilities management, resilience and protective security
